Welcome to the Bolton
Local Involvement Network (LINk)
LINks have been set up to give communities a stronger voice on how their health and social care services are provided and delivered.
The Bolton LINk is an independent network made up of individuals, community groups and organisations with an interest in health and social care and covers the whole of the Borough.
Our aim is to put people and communities at the heart of health and social care services, making sure people’s views are heard at all levels.
The LINk provides an opportunity for everyone to work together and to shape and influence health and social care services that meet the needs of people in Bolton.
We would very much like to hear your views, opinions and experiences either good or bad!

Health and Social Care Bill 2011
The Health and Social Care Bill was introduced into Parliament on 19 January 2011. It takes forward Equity and excellence: liberating the NHS (July 2010) and the subsequent Government response Liberating the NHS: legislative framework and next steps (December 2010), which require primary legislation. It also includes provision to strengthen public health services and reform the Department’s arm’s length bodies.
